Anatol Cyberia Releases “Can Be Without It” & Interview [EXCLUSIVE]

A lot of EDM is about falling in love and connecting with your fellow humansโ€”itโ€™s one of the greatest parts of this sub-culture.

But like most everything good, it eventually has to end. Thatโ€™s probably why hearing a track like โ€œCan Be Without Itโ€ is so refreshing.

The banging collaboration between Germany-based producers Anatol Cyberia and Deugene is a life-after-breakup song that hits just in time for rave season.

The soulful vocal sample sets the scene and this isnโ€™t your average butterfly-and-rainbows love story: โ€œThis is a merry-go-round / I need to get out of town / your love is bringing me down / but I can do without it / I can be without it.โ€ This track is all about that feeling of freedom. The drop is hard, funky, and uplifting; itโ€™s aggressive but not angry and optimistic but not sappy.

Anatol Cyberia and Deugene have already been blowing up the club scene from Dresden across Europe with this release and itโ€™s sure to net them some more cred on the world stage. โ€œCan Be Without Itโ€ is the perfect prescription for the aching EDM heart. Maybe being single isnโ€™t so bad after allโ€ฆ?

I got to talk to Anatol Cyberia about โ€œCan Be Without Itโ€ and his house music podcast. Check out our exclusive interview with Anatol Cyberia, below only at EDM RANKS:

Tell us about โ€œCan Be Without Itโ€. How did you come up with the idea for this track?

Deugene and I were in the studio working on a good dance track with a happy vibe and we finally did. We hope people will like it; itโ€™s a really fresh track and weโ€™re so glad to have a lot of feedback from listeners and other DJs! This is exactly what we were looking for!

What inspires you to create music?

Happy people. All of what we do is to make people happy.

How did you begin producing electronic music?

I started producing in 2009. No studio, a small laptop, and tons of YouTube videos on how to make music: this is how I started.

Tell us a bit about your podcast.

Friday Vibes is the house music podcast with fresh new tracks of deep, future, and electro for pre-party Friday fun! We upload every month on Mixcloud. Check it out!

Do you have a favorite DAW, VST plugin, or instrument you like to use?

Yes, I have a favorite DAW, FL Studio. The Plugins are Sylenth1, Nexus, Serum, T-RackS. Bundles from Waves are really cool too.

What has been your favorite city or venue to perform in?

I visit too many clubsโ€ฆ In Germany my favourite places are Kraftwerkt Mitte (Dresden) and Puro Beach (Dresden). Last week I was in an Amsterdam club called โ€œEscapeโ€. Itโ€™s a really cool place. In April I will visit Morocco with my set on โ€œConfetti Splash #Marrakech 2017โ€. Hope itโ€™ll be awesome!

What can we expect from you in the next year?

At the moment I am working on some good House tracks, another collaboration with Deugene and some other artists. A lot of good music from me soon! Stay tuned!
