Coachella Got Hacked, Coachella Fans Information Now At Risk

With massive EDM news that Draft Punk might be playing at Coachella in 2017, the EDM/hip-hop festival also has even more news to share.

They have recently been hacked, and now all Coachella Fans information such as usernames, first names, last names, emails, your home address, date of birth and more is at risk.

The festival writes to EDM Sauce saying:

We recently discovered that unauthorized third parties illegally gained access to the usernames, first and last names, shipping addresses, email addresses, phone numbers and dates of birth individuals provided to Coachella. We have confirmed that no user passwords were stolen. Based on our investigation, no financial information was accessed and, there is no indication that customer financial information has been disclosed. We have taken measures to block further unauthorized access, and reported the matter to the appropriate authorities for further investigation. We regret any inconvenience this incident may have caused.

Maybe the hackers didnt get credit cards directly, but it seems they have enough information now to find them, and also find more about who you are, where you live, your emails and attack you from this information, all still very dangerous.

We advise all Coachella fans to be careful, and change their passwords to their emails and other accounts online.
