This is definitely one to add to your spotify playlist. We did.
We got a chance to ask Tom and Bayo about their new song ‘Piano’, check it out below.
Tom Booth Interview
Tell us about ‘Piano’ How did you come up with this idea for this song?
Me and bayo go way back when he had his different name dcB and we released two tracks arikara and maasia both tribal tracks but with his new name he wanted a new style which we both wanted! With this release “Piano” it all came from that groovy bassline we had in the drop and the name is from that piano break which me and bayo both agree is one of our best releases together
What Inspired you to make this?
The inspiration behind it was from both of us wanting a new style something completely new! Which drove us to this bass driven drop but still wanted to keep our groove side in this with the big stab in the drop!
How did you begin producing electronic dance music?
I got into production around 6 years ago and it was all through the love of dance music i wanted to be able to have my own music as the things I thought would be good was not out so I wanted to make that music for myself and for everyone else and hopefully they would enjoy it as much as me!
Do you have a favorite VST plugin or instrument to use?
My favourite plugin has to be nexus or sylenth amongst others as they are very versatile and easy to make great new sounds through the vst
What can we expect from you this year?
This year you can expect alot of new music and alot of collabs with some great up coming producers and a new one with bayo!! Also alot of live gigs to play so keep an eye out if you live local! I would like to say thankyou to the end ranks team for the support from the support it means alot!!
