Jay Z‘s new 2015 high quality music streaming service has staked its claim in being the ‘highest audio quality’ music streaming service, and made its ‘high quality audio’ the face of its marketing plot.

But can your ears really hear that much of a difference between low quality and high quality? Well the answer is not so simple.

As it depends on the quality of your headphones/speakers, the room you are in, and also your own ears (duh!).

For all our producers and DJs, This is a chance to test your listening skills and see if your ears are as good as you think.

Many people cannot hear the difference between uncompressed audio files and MP3.
