EDM veteran Kaskade insists there’s no relationship between drugs/alcohol and EDM after multiple arrests and medical incidents at country music festival.
More than 50 arrests and 46 medical incidents Saturday at a stop on Keith Urban‘s “Raise ’Em Up Tour”
EDM Producer Kaskade took the time to point out a double-standard surrounding country music and media coverage of the EDM scene.
The Boston Herald said that there were 22 alcohol-related hospitalizations at Saturday’s Raise’Em Up show, In June, Boston was in the news for a similar incident, An Avicii music festival where around 40 dance music fans were hospitalized.
Which saw eight ambulances heading to the city’s Xfinity Center by 10:30 p.m.
After the Kaskade took to Twitter July 28th saying
Weird that so many ravers were at a Keith Urban concert. Oh wait…there’s a drug/alcohol prob OUTSIDE of electronic music?? Shocking.

He then followed up with a Tweet and a link slamming EDM Critics in a blog article he wrote one year ago.
