Pacha nightclub, One of the longest running New York nightclubs, is leaving New York city and opening a new nightclub in Macau, China.

As Billboard reports, news of Pacha’s NYC nightclub will permanently shut its doors after a decade-long nightclub residence in the city playing awesome electronic dance music from the worlds underground EDM DJs and world Top 100 DJs.

Macau, is a Chinese city across the bay from Hong Kong, and is now the new home hosting Pacha’s newest nightclub branch, with many Top DJs already scheduled.

But the real question remains, Will Pacha be embraced by Macau as it had been in New York?

The owners of Pacha Macau have stated:

Pacha will bring Ibiza-style nightlife to Macau offering an exclusive lifestyle experience not currently available in Greater China.

Clearly it seems they are foreseeing a huge boom in the China EDM markets, China EDM festivals, Chinese DJs, and Chinese Clubs.

This is a smart step for the Pacha brand merging into the Chinese electronic dance music markets, as China represents a very large portion of the worlds purchasing power along with their very large population.
