Steve Aoki & Hard Rock Casino Gets Sued For Breaking A Girl’s Neck

Steve Aoki Gets Sued For Breaking A Girl’s Neck

We wish this was a click bait title but unfortunately it’s not.

The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino has now also been added to the Steve Aoki neck breaking lawsuit and are now both parties are being sued for breaking a girl’s neck from a show Aoki played at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in California, San Diego in 2012 when he jumped off the 20ft stage support beams onto an air inflatable water raft held by fans below, apparently crushing and breaking Brittany Hickman’s neck who was trapped under the raft.

Steve Aoki is a famous EDM DJ known for his wild antics, but has he gone to far?

UPDATE (May 19, 2015): Steve Aoki issued this statement below, through his attorney Peter Doody,

I would never want anyone to get hurt at any of my shows and feel badly that someone has, but at this time I have been advised by my attorneys to not speak about this as it’s going to trial. Thank you for your understanding.

UPDATE (August 4th, 2016): Brittany Hickman has implored a jury to determine the Hard Rock’s liability in paying for her future medical costs.

  1. So 1. why is she not dead if she did really break her neck, then breathing may be effected and the person may die from asphyxiation. In orde

    • Interesting observation, But it is possible for people to live from a broken neck if treated with care, it all just depends which part of the neck and how bad
