How committed are Zedd fans really? Very committed, it seems, to pack out the Rumsey Playfield in New York City’s Central Park at 6am in the early morning.

On Friday July 18th 2014 Zedd came to play a live show, Good Morning America hosted the electronic dance hitmaker as part of its ‘Fun In The Sun’ summer series,

“By the way,”

Zedd tweeted after the broadcast,

“We had the largest crowd ever at GMA – that’s all thanks to YOU!”

Zedd’s GMA performance featured Swedish singer-songwriter Miriam Bryant, and a string section accompanying “Stay The Night”.

If you missed the segment, a very nice Zed fan has uploaded most of it to YouTube for us all to enjoy– watch it below.

While the GMA crowd heard songs from Zedd’s Grammy-winning debut album Clarity, the most highly-anticipated follow-up has yet to come.

In June, the the famous electronic king revealed to Billboard that nearly 80-percent of the LP has already been written, with half of the songs

“Just piano and vocals at this point.”

After a two-week studio stint to start on production, Zedd’s back on a summer tour, making regular trips to Las Vegas for his XS and Encore Beach Club residency, in between his adventures around Europe.

On Saturday, August 30 Zedd is flying back to New York to co-headline Electric Zoo’s Main Stage West alongside Armin van Buuren.
