EDM RANKS: “How did you get into music?”

CYKOSIS: “By 2001 he was rigging halo 1 to go online for multiplayer games before Xbox connect, and soldering Xboxes with new chips to mod the game and make Halo 1 glass walls. You could modify the xbox game files and make solid walls glass, and etc. Stupid hacks like that. I was naturally good, You could say the first or second best clan on the lagspy network at the time. Its really called gamespy, I think its still around today, And there was another software, called Xbox connect, which was later renamed to XBconnect, Im pretty sure those were the names. Cykos correct me. Back to it, when we came to play upon one of the best clans online in Halo 1 known as [SEALS] clan, they were using glass walls. This was the first time i found out about this hack. I went CYKO! You could see that they were looking and watching us through the walls. Our walls were solid, theirs were see through. This was the day. I did everything I could to learn how they were doing that. Then a few years later i downloaded FL studio and Ableton. The Cyko and jokes started around 2001 I guess. Before that i was doing EARLY graphic design for forum signatures, websites and other dumb crap like that. People dont even know what those are today.”

EDM RANKS: “That’s pretty interesting! So that was how this all began?”

CYKOSIS: “Yes you could say so”

EDM RANKS: “So what are the plans going forward now that I AM CYKO Is done and coming out Dec 7th 2025?”

CYKOSIS: “I am working on the 2nd album, ‘The Clown Prince'” but im not sure when that will be released yet, stay tuned!

EDM RANKS: “That’s awesome news will do. Do you ever plan to show your face or remove the CYKOSIS mask?”

CYKOSIS: “Maybe one day, who knows? Lets make it, 1 million followers on Tiktok a deal?”

EDM RANKS: “Deal! thank you for your time and this interview.”

Fast-forward to right now: the prank has gone global.

On December 7, 2025, the ultimate gag drops: HI IM CYKO, the album-length pie in the face of boring bass music.

You’ve already been sneak-attacked by the singles:

• “Hi My Name Is CYKO” – the handshake that ends with a joy-buzzer straight to the spine
• “Freakshow” – the clown car that explodes into a 174-BPM riot the second the doors open

The rest of the tracks? Think cartoon anvils made of hardstyle kicks, switch-ups that pull the rug out so hard you land in a different genre, and drops so ridiculous you’ll be laughing while your neck snaps from whiplash.
