On June 22, 2025, Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido sparked controversy after alleging that Hï Ibiza’s security team attempted to harm him and his entourage during a night out.

According to Instagram stories posted by Davido and his cousin Tunji Adeleke, the incident occurred while they were in Ibiza for the wedding celebration of Davido’s manager, Asa Asika. Davido claimed the security “tried to kill me and my team,” sharing photos of aggressive-looking staff and vowing that “all y’all going down.” on social media.

Tunji alleged he was choked without provocation, suggesting racial motivations, and demanded the club release CCTV footage.

The altercation, details of which remain unclear, ignited widespread reactions online, with fans expressing outrage and some X users questioning Davido’s entourage size and behavior.

But wait, it gets better. It seems one of the security guards at Hi Ibiza has an X account ( @Judaxx_ ) and is doing damage control for the Ibiza nightclub.
